It's highly probable that they will have a variation on the iphone and they probably even have the next edition of the iphone complete or near completion.

Rumors are just talk and whatever happens happens. I'm hearing they are going to release another version of the iphone in time for the Christmas season. Again..Who knows? Just a bunch of iphoneChat for now. ;-)

They are not sure if he actually got fired or not. Too many rumors around. Even in the "War on Terror". Maybe there is a "War on iphone" being waged. Quote:

I most definitely think it's fiction. I don't think we will be seeing a new iPhone for another 2 years because everybody under that 2 year contract with Cingular will be so upset if a new iPhone comes out.

But the market is not the people that have one it will be the people that want one but can't afford the premium price; apple would do well to release a more consumer priced phone, akin to the price structure of the iPod and the nano.
