Very urgent iphone question !

so i just updated my iphone to the 2.1, and now when someone sends me a text message, instead of their name coming up when i recieve it, it just says "new text message" does anyone know how I can fix this ? it drives me crazy, i like it when my phone lights up n it says the persons name whos texting me and its driving me crazy !

You need to check your settings in the iphone, u might have your caller ID off.
If not luck just try and re boot ya phone by holiding down the home button and power button for 10 secs

Close your iphone, turn it on again, go to Menu, Settings, then click on Turn ID ON.. And it would work and name of the person would come when you get a SMS.
