User application in iphone

hi,

I want to develop an application which can run in iPhone platform (Apple iphone SDK). I want to make my application in such a way that it can observe several events like voice call initiates to somebody, incoming SMS and active cell-id changes in background mode.

Can anyone help me pls that how can I implement those features in my application or what sorts of things I need to modify my application??

Till Apple does not introduce the feature, you can use the hack developed by Gaizin for jailbroken iPhones, called iPhone Backgrounder, which allows users to run iPhone apps in the background.
