How to change desktop and connect to the net.

Hi to every one.

I just got the iphone and it would be great if someone could help me uderstand how it works.
I would like to know how I can change the desktop, were all the icons appears.
Also I would like to know how I can connect to the internet.
The phone is unblock, wich is cool.
