you could purposely load it with priceless messages and contacts and nude photos and anything else you can squeeze in, and "forget" to back them up, so when the screen breaks you can sue their pants off! XD :P

Apple has a history of screen issues with it's iPod, so I think early models will have problems too. Stay clear of the first batches to be safe than sorry.

I wonder if they have found a fingerprint resistant plastic though. I doubt it.

normally when touch screen's screen breaks.. then its really hard fixing it. u should try a new phone then. it really concerns me either and also many other ppl with whom i discussed about this. You must take utmost care of it and always handle it properly so that the screen doesnt break or the phone doesnt fall down. but i dont think the screen breaks off so easily.. does it? |

| That doesn't really make sense. If they have corrected the iPod's screen, why would they not use that and carry it over to the iPhone's screen? If they fixed the problem I don't see it arising on a very similar product.

| Yes, there is a fingerprint/smudge-free plastic that is most likely being used on the iPhone.

Cool, another double post though. Anyway, let me explain my first quoted comment. The iPod Nano launched with screen issues in that it cracked easily, they fixed that batch free of charge and corrected future models. The iPhone could also be victim of a similar fate. Wait and see, most product launches are plagued with the first batch being wonky. |

Yeah but, the point of buying it first, was to have it first, no use if it's away getting fixed.
