It should, I read of 29 hour battery life on music playback. That truly is the best iPod ever made. |

Yes it did! 7 hours of continous music and occasional looks at google maps for direction only used a little more than 25% of the battery. The playback battery life is impresive.

when my battery looks really low, i plug it up and is shows that big battery, but it always shows less than half way empty. whats up with that
|

I read a complete list of iPhone bugs, and there is a problem with the battery life indicator. Things like never showing full charge, never getting past half charge. You could be experiencing another variant. |
