Yeah my ipod has survived quite a bit of abuse and still works great. If you're worried about damaging it then maybe it's best you hold off on buying it until you stop playing football with it. :D

Well, the majority of technology now-a-days is versatile. I drop my mobile phone on a daily basis and it hasn't once even scratched. I don't know what they do to it, but I do know that it'll take alot of hard work to actually break it.

Vx.

I know someone who has an iPhone and apparently it's very durable. He's dropped it a few times and it doesn't have any scratches or marks on it, I would say that's pretty durable

The sensitive touchscreen can really be an issue. Even if other parts of the phone are durable, i'm not so sure of the screen. And it doesn't have a keypad. So I'm really worried about the screen.

The screen is great; it feels solid, and it's not a typical touchscreen since it does not respond to pressure but rather electrical differential between your finger and the sensor under the screen.

The screen was put through some tough testing in the video that was posted and the guy even dropped it on cement. I'm sure Apple had tested it pretty good. I'm sure there won't be any problems with damaging these fairly easy.
