I think the camera is decent, but a few more features on it would have been nice. Even just an edit button along the bottom to change some settings. I know Apple has the whole simplicity thing going, but sometimes we want detail. Saying that, the animations do look lovely.

its not simplicity. apple is going to come up with these features (minus flash and may not zoom). then sell them. all the features that seem to be missing on this phone will be available soon. for a price. there going to nickle and dime us to death. and they know they can. we paid 600 dollars for the phone. they know we got money.....

Yeah I guess you could be right, but I seen Apple vowing somewhere that they would be updating the iPhone software regularly for free and all that, that was all part of the price in other words.

Apple does usually deliver it's promises for Macintosh computers and stuff, but I've found that anymore else e.g. iPods, it does it's best to rip of consumers.

We will see what Apple will release, but they did make a huge emphasis on the fact that their biggest gain was being able to update the iPhone any way they wanted (not being tied down with plastic buttons in other words).

It is a great concept. Technically, they could overhaul the entire phone, a new OS in other words, and it wouldn't be a problem, because there wouldn't be obsolet buttons etc.
