iCal glitch?

I have a possible glitch. When I create an appointment on my iPhone, and I sync to iCal, it does not show up. However if I create an event in iCal, it will sync fine with my phone. Maybe this is intentional and will be fixed with the next software update, but it seems like a pretty big miss.

And don't get me started on lack-of-category-colors in the iPhone calendar

edit: spelling...

I have not had this problem. Entries in the iphone sync fine to ical for me. I am also disapointed in the lack of color.

I would have to say that this is where most people need to see improvements. The sales of first time items might be on the slow down because no one really knows of the possible bugs or manufacturing defects until after they get the thing.

Update: so I turned off "Sync with other computers through .Mac" in iCal, and now it works...weird.

The first models will always have some bugs. So its better to wait for better versions. People have already pointed out a few problems in the iphone since it was released with such hype.
