Can't stop music from coming on at end of call

When I end a call music starts playing. I can't figure out what I am doing that would make that happen. If I play music and want to stop, I hit pause and then go backwards as far as I can, usually to playlists and then I hit the menu/home key. then later I'll get a call and when I hang up it starts playing music, the first song in the library. any ideas on how to stop this?

that sounds very strange, are you listening to music while u get the phone call?
