| Thank you for the amazing insight you have spread to this thread. Honestly I agree with apple, though. I don't think anyone is going to want to have to deal with Linux on a little hand held phone.. The market for Linux users, let alone ones that would be able to do it on a phone, is so tiny it's not even funny.

The only time I have ever used a *NIX is for a web hosting server I ran... I have absolutely no intentions to ever use them for a home PC whatsoever.

Yeah it's a great platforum for servers I've heard. I'm not a complete expert on Linux tho. How do you pronounce it. I say it as if it rhymed with pinup. Some people say it so the 'Li' rhymes with shy. |

hmm this sounds interesting..ive been playing around installing Linux's on hp Ipaq etc, but this is going to be a lot different, i mean switching between wifi and GSM etc, its got be very complex and very much reliable..

Wow, sounds like a lot of fun. I have installed linux on my home computer for a few days but then i got bored using it since it couldn't swap files with my Windows partition for some reason, which kind of ruins what fun i can do with it.
