Why Cingular? - Page 3

It's not illegal because nobody is forcing you to use an iPhone. There are a variety of smartphones available from other manufacturers which work on Verizon and Sprint. Some of these even have touchscreens and better-quality built-in digital cameras.

I'm personally happy with the choice to go AT&T because my old mobile was Cingular, which was acquired by AT&T. This made my switch to iPhone an easy one.

I think Apple has taken a poor decision in joining hands with Cingular. There must have been some specific reasons behind their move.They have a 5 year agreement man.
